Muslims getting violent -- Who'da thunk it? I guess it was a bad sign when the locals beheaded all the paper birds.

That's why they should've dropped napalm pig-grease bombs on those Islamofacists instead of "spitwad" bombs!

This episode singularly embodies the situation as it pertains to the liberal West and the Muslim world. Tolerant liberals attack militant Islam with paper bombs and terrorists respond with real explosives.

The origami initiative, carried out to mark the birthday of revered King Bhumibol Adulyadej, had its critics among some Muslim leaders who said it did not gel with local culture and should not be a substitute for more traditional peace efforts.

I think the Mother of MOAB would be quite traditional, and something even the jihadists can understand.

First the birds of peace, and if that doesn't work then comes the bombs. Some people just wont learn even if you are nice to them. Good luck to the Thai authorities in their quest to stop the violence in their southern region.
