Is this report real? I can't find any source except the "Citizens Commission on Human Rights," established by the Church of Scientology. Their press release has been republished in a couple of places (like Rense's website), but, as far as I can tell, that's all.
Michael Savage exposes these "psychiatrists" for the frauds that they truly are in his most recent works, "The Savage Nation" and "The Enemy Within."
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Public law requires each "special needs" student have an Individual Education Plan and the school remains responsible for the education and the costs. It is illegal to refuse to allow the child into the classroom or alternative classroom under these circumstances. The problem is that many parents don't understand this and give in. Abuse charges for failing to medicate a child are virtually impossible to enforce if a parent were to be aggressive about opposing them. However, your advice is well taken. The public schools are certainly not worth all the effort that it might take to combat against them. Also, there may be times when the advice given parents about medications may be good advice. But I believe adequate safeguards exist from a legal standpoint already to prevent forced administration of psychotropic medications when parents refuse consent.
Another observation. While they can't force parents to drug their children, they can go behind parent's backs and allow the female students to get abortions. I still don't understand just how they get away with that. I thought a doctor needed parental/guardian permission before treating a minor.
