I take it you've never seen anyone run out of business by mexican hiring under-the-table paying "businessmen"? Since when is not paying your taxes a conservative trait? Since when is subsidizing labor a conservative trait? Since when is making exscuses for either of those practices a conservative trait? They're killing the golden goose.
Get a room.
But remember, you're trying to have a rational conversation with irrational people. Not only that, but whatever you say about illegal immigration to these irrational people goes in one ear and out the other. With nothing between their ears, its easy to spout off empty headed rhetoric.

That's exactly what they're doing. America became what it is (was?) through the efforts and sacrifices of people who came here for the real opportunities this new land represented for those willing to leave their old values behind them, learn the language, tolerate and cooperate with very different people and respect the law above clan, convenience and corruption. This isn't just about depressed wages, creeping corruption and cultural dilution; it's about the purposeful dismantling of everything that made America the model the rest of the world looked up to. Gutting the nation for short term profits is certain suicide.

Bush and his family have too many ties to Mexico's elite ruling class to for us to to expect right by them. Newsflash for the Bushbots - Your boy has been corrupt on this front for a long time. Yammer about hate, Buchanan and whatever all you like...none of my friends or former business associates are in prison or on most wanted lists. 9-11 brought out the best of the man for a time, true, but that best isn't who he really is. Note how quickly he moved for deals favoring Mexico (FTAA, totalization and guestworker-revisited, to name three) before the final reelection votes were tallied. In return Mexico will help us by...(?!)
