Actually, Election Day is in November, and is the first Tuesday AFTER THE FIRST MONDAY. Therefore, the earliest an election could be held would be November 2. Tuesday, November 1 could NEVER be an Election Day.

Zogsters, it's time to find a new job. Your credibility is shot. Just like Dan Rather, no one will ever believe another word you say.

"It's highly unusual for a pollster who claims not to be partisan to issue such a call [for an investigation]," Sabato told CNSNews.com .

This is the gem of the article. I have never heard of such a thing from a neutral observer.

they dont use Diebold machines in Ohio!!!!

When I investigated this a couple of weeks ago, I found a Bloomberg article (dated Sept. 1, 2004) that said: Ohio officials have also sidelined Diebold's machines in some counties after at least five private and government- sponsored studies raised questions about whether software in its touch-screen voting systems can be rigged to fix outcomes.

http://quote.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=10000103&sid=aP3CJb9ADeXM&refer=us

Speculation--might it be that the sidelining of the Diebold machines was part of the reason for the long lines in Ohio?

very possibly...

I live in a suburb of Columbus, certainly not an urban area, and the line was 3 hours long.

If the people in said areas couldnt wait around long enough to vote, well thats just too bad. I did.

I think finding a new job is just what they're about. They are letting the Rats know that they'll be a reliable tool for misrepresenting public opinion in the libs' favor...it's the only game left for Zog. His future as an unbiased pollster is shot.

Sabato said Zogby has been consistently wrong in the last 3 cycles...without emphasizing he was wrong in favor of the same party each time!

Lastly, the Zog rep says we must "restore the dignity and public confidence in the democratic process." Well, I can tell them where to start: STOP SPREADING LIES ABOUT THE "DIGNITY AND PUBLIC CONFIDENCE" OF THE ELECTION!

...ploos are a tool of the Socialist Left

"Ploos" would be 3rd cousins to the Schmoos, right?

Al Capp's "Dog Patch" dig at socialism and welfare:

The SHMOO first appeared in "Li'l Abner" in August 1948. They were a seeming miracle. The lovable creature laid eggs, gave milk and died of sheer ecstasy whenThe SHMOO not SCHMOO looked at with hunger. The Shmoo loved to be eaten by humans and tasted like any food desired. Anything that delighted people delighted a Shmoo. Fry a Shmoo and it came out chicken. Broil it and it came out steak. Shmoo eyes made terrific suspender buttons. The hide of the Shmoo if cut thin made fine leather and if cut thick made the best lumber. Even the Shmoo's whiskers made splendid toothpicks. The Shmoo satisfied all the world's wants. You could never run out of Shmoon (plural of Shmoo) because they multiplied at such an incredible rate. The Shmoo believed that the only way to happiness was to bring happiness to others. Li'l Abner discovered Shmoos when he ventured into the forbidden Valley of the Shmoon, against the frantic protestations of Ol' Man Mose. "Shmoos," Mose warned, "is the greatest menace to hoomanity th' world has evah known." "Thass becuz they is so bad, huh?" asked Li'l Abner. "No, stupid," answered Mose, hurling one of life's profoundest paradoxes at Li'l Abner. "It's because they're so good!"

Ironically, the lovable and selfless Shmoos ultimately brought misery to humankind because people with a limitless supply of self-sacrificing Shmoos stopped working and society began to break down. Seen at first as a boon to humankind, they were ultimately hunted down and exterminated by the U.S. government to preserve the status quo.

HE SNEEK PEEKS AT EXIT POLLING DATA, 5PM THE DAY OF THE ELECTION, AND THEN PUTS OUT HIS "FINAL" POLL!

And his last minute adjustment which puts him in harmony with exit polls gives more "proof" that something diabolical must be going on in the vote count.

Zogby is anything but bipartisan.

Zogby is an Islamofascist partisan at the very least and quite probably an Israel hater as well.

If Zogby got it wrong because of voter fraud and other irregularities, then how did so many other polling organizations get it right?

Following an Election Day prediction that Democratic candidate John Kerry would win more than 300 electoral votes and the presidency, one of America's most well known polling firms continued the job Wednesday of explaining its flawed projection. Shawnta Watson Walcott, communications director for Zogby International, joined a group of liberal Democrats at a faux congressional hearing focused on whether fraud influenced the Nov. 2 outcome.

So rather than discussing why Zogby flubbed the polls at the "faux Congressional hearing", the real problem is election fruad with this crowd. Were any Federal funds spent supporting this "faux Congressional hearing"?

The final Ohio count was announced by the Ohio SecofState as a 119,000 vote difference and not a 135,000 vote difference.

I've read an article someplace (I think) that questions if Ohio uses "diebolt" machines.

EVERYONE on election day was commenting on the exit polling sampling taking improperly balanced samples, especially oversampling women. (We don't know where else their methodology was wrong...but the results say that the POLLING was in error...and the early reports confirmed incompetent sampling design.)

Battleground is supposedly one of the most accurate and reliable polls out there.

Celinda Lake and Ed Goeas appear to be very solid-if partisan-pollsters in that respect.

"... it has become increasingly clear that this election has produced unprecedented levels of suspicion regarding its outcome, and we join this panel discussion in an attempt to find a resolution to these issues

How hard is it to understand, that much as they crossed their little fingers and made thier wishes, the American Public did not succumb to the concerted, multi-faceted propaganda blitz by the Dims, MSM, MoveOn, etc. The "discrepancies" are the difference between the Left's hopeful lies and reality.

I guess Zogby will no longer known as "the guy who got it right in 2000" and will now be "the guy who blew it in 2004."
