It is a parents worst nightmare. That's why I have a 45 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback, soon to be an 80 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback that sleeps in my daughters room. That is why I have and always will have 'big' dogs. And that is why they always sleep by my bed ;) Combination alarm and first line of defense :)

a prior sex offender who was on probation for an earlier domestic violence case The panel who let this animal out on probation would be in court now facing jail time. This sick animal needs to be put down not let out on probation. What the hell is going on?

This is what we get for an 'anything goes' tittilation driven culture...kids are so sexualized today it is positively vile and a real abomination of our species.
Add to that a 24x7 delievery system satuated with off-the-scale, twisted pornography that the Internet pumps into our households (and slaps in our face like it or not) and we are really playing with sociopathic fire.
Wonder if we will wake up before we strip ourselves of all spiritual essence in the quest to gorge ourselves for all that is 'base'?

"...a prior sex offender who was on probation for an earlier domestic violence case ..." Now here is the real problem. Once these animals exhibit this kind of behavior they should be locked away forever.
There is something here that I don't understand though. How does someone come into a private home unnoticed and manage to commit a crime like this and still go unnoticed.
I live in a rural area and never feel threatened. And, even though we don't feel threatened, the doors remain locked throughout the day and it would be impossible for someone to enter without making a lot of noise. Can't be too careful these days.

Will someone
please tell me why we don't have capital punishment for flagrant, repeated sexual assault?
Scum such as this do not deserve to breathe our air.

As soon as a human predator is identified, he should be killed (or isolated). I agree. Often a predator can be identified at a very early age (7-12-14). And usually, they can't be rehabed. There was a discussion here once about killing such kids. Don't think I could live with that. But locked away forever doesn't bother me a bit.

Since the legal system fails to protect the people, every freeper should check with local Sheriff to locate sex offenders moving into their community.
Stay armed, ready, and vigilant.

Does California publish lists of sex offenders online with address and picture?
