I am incredibly disappointed by the republican absence in this critical moment in American democracy.

Indeed! I saw some of Conyers' hearing this morning on C-Span 2 and I was appalled. There was a stream of leftist "witnesses" making suggestions like taking back the election right now by getting red state electors to change their votes -- or to vote "proportionally". These whiners all believe that the election was "stolen" from them in Ohio.

There is nary a Republican voice raised about the rampant leftist voter fraud all over the country. Once the election is over, they just drop the ball.

All this gives the impression to the impressionable that the leftist have been cheated. Pubbies, speak up!

Aside for the nut-cases and those who politically astute, this is a non-issue to most people. If Republicans overtly start making noise, that only invites the media to make more noise about it. Heck, Olberman tried to get the ball rolling on this and even he's backed off. I'm sure Bush and Blackwell have things well in hand as they are monitoring the situation. These guys have cried wolf so many times that people just aren't listening.
