"I want to make a political statement! MERRY CHRISTMAS!"
How dare you! You should be fined and sent to sensitivity training until you are deemed to be mentally healthy.
Repeat after me, "Happy Winter Solstice", "We love your Community Tree", "Would you care for a Community Cookie?"
Not in my town either. We have a nativity scene on the bandstand on the town common. And this is Massachusetts.
How the Left Stole Christmas

Have to admit that I, personally, have not celebrated Christmas the last few years because the joy (the celebration of Jesus' birth) is no longer the focus...even in my very Christian family. When the holiday starts being celebrated for what it is, I'll rejoin. In the meantime, I'll do what the scripture says Mary did...ponder it all in my heart, and thank God privately for sending his Son. But no more of the tinsel, greed, ho ho ho, tree stuff for me.
That's NOT an indictment against those who do celebrate in this way (I know many who do STILL keep Christ foremost in their hearts and minds on those days), but for me it's just bother, noise, expense...and not a happy time.
Not a bah humbug...just a sad sigh.
Shhhhhhhhh. Don't tell anyone, Santa Claus = Saint Nicholas
If any are offended by the true meaning of Christmas, I council them to refuse to take any days off of work during Christmas season and refuse to buy presents for loved ones!
Take a stand anti-Christian hypocrites!
And don't celebrate Thanksgiving either, that is also a Christian holiday!
Only their barber/hairdresser knows for sure.
Amen, take those holidays away...oh and you should probably work on weekends too (day of rest and so on). They can also wait until they take God off the currency before they get paid again...but that's up for discussion...money is their god.
I wonder when they are close to death do they A) Hug a material good; B) Ask for a Macy's or Target circular; C) pray to the Big Bang; D) Hold a rabbit's foot or a monkey skull...or a picture of Marx, Lenin, Stalin...who knows?
Time to drag out the Merry Christmas t-shirts.
I was going to say that.
You've hit the nail on the head.
We need to hear more from you.
Keep it up
My words exactly.
Kudos
