The Hildebeast's nomination and subsequent loss would mean the end of the Dumbocratic Party. I think they're eventually going to realize that and pick somebody like Bill Richardson or Evan Byah.
But it would be fun to see Shrillary and Condi in a debate; Condi would wipe the floor with her. It would definitely not be the same as Obama vs. Keys.
Dick Morris now seems to be in the same category that Zogby finds himself - few now believe him. This is just some more of his BS! I am a great admirer of Dr. Rice, however; much will happen during the next four years and neither of these women will likely be elected president in 2008.

GOP should terminate the Christian right
The Hill | October 22, 2003 | Dick Morris
In the 1970s, Ronald Reagan made a pact with the Christian right, opening the anti-tax, anti-government, pro-defense GOP to the opponents of abortion rights. The coalition between economic and social conservatives animated his 1980 triumph and made the ensuing 10 years into a Republican decade. But ever since, the Republican Party has paid the price for its coalition with the advocates of bedroom regulation.
The Christian right has so alienated women that it has opened up a gender gap that often swells to more than 20 points, crippling Republican candidates. It is about time that the Republican Party realizes that the Christian right is doing to it exactly what the radical black Rainbow Coalition of Jesse Jackson did to the Democratic Party in the 80s making them unelectable. Their embrace is the kiss of death. It is not that the religious right is wrong. Right or wrong, it gets in the way of so much good that the Republican Party could achieve if it were not in the Christian rights grasp.
Will the Republican Party escape from the embrace of the pro-lifers so that it can nominate candidates like Rudy Giuliani, Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice? Likely not. Those who see each election as an opportunity to hold candidates to litmus tests on key social issues are not likely to relinquish their hold or relax their vigilance.
The fact that this way lies defeat seems not to matter. The example of Arnold Schwarzenegger will likely make no impression as they proceed to drum out of the primary anyone whose views are sufficiently centrist to permit them access to the majority of women voters in the general election.
END EXCERPT
Luckily the GOP ignored Morris and GWB went on to win by large majorities of Christian voters.
ACTION PROJECT
Tell Fox News-TV (where Morris is a commentator) that he has become a distinct liability to the preeminent conservative channel. In The Hill article (posted above), Morris attempted to marginalize social conservatives before the election, and after the election, minimized Christians huge electoral win. Should Fox employ an individual who is incapable of speaking to their audience? Comments@foxnews.com
No thinking politician would ever let Dick Morris close enough to their inner circle to actually know squat. I am sick of that smarmy, toe sucking opportunist.
Rice would be the perfect VP candidate.
I agree, I don't see her with the top job...as of yet.
Much too early to be playing this game.
That's a winning attitude for you!
Hitery will be a relic of the past by then. She won't win.
The Hispanic vote will determine the winner in 2008 just like it did this year, and Bill Richardson is their best bet to take the Hispanic vote away from the Republican nominee.
I am stunned at those who think Hillary can't win the nomination and can't win in 2008.
The nomination? Anyone who challenges her will be chewed up and spit out into little pieces by the still-influential MSM. In fact, I'm wondering if anyone with stature will even dare to challenge her. She'll have to talk Dennis Kucinich into running again, which would also serve to make her look more "moderate" and "reasonable."
The general election? Three questions:
- What state that Kerry won would Hillary lose? (....crickets chirping.....)
- What states that Kerry lost could Hillary win? (Arkansas, Ohio, Florida, New Mexico, maybe 1-2 others--more than enough to win, even if she "loses" the popular vote by 5 million vote or more, which is a distinct possibility)
- What Republican can stop her? (too early to tell)
Stopping her will be a Herculean task, especially now that she's moving to the right of the GOP on immigration (I know she doesn't mean it, but it still looks like it to most people).
Knowing Hillary and the Democrats they would still try to use the "race card."
"Rudy would have a tough time getting the Republican nomination but would have a better chance of getting elected"
That's exactly what I think
If he survives the primaries, it would really be something, but I think there are tons of voters who would vote for him in a general election.
I think Jeb could easily beat her if the 2nd term is a success.
"The problem is that our strongest candidates nationally appeal very little to the hardcore Republican primary voters."
Bttt... my thoughts exactly.
Tom Tancredo for President 2008 = Our last hope to save AMERICA
Tom Tancredo will carry CALIFORNIA in 2008
I'd like to see Newt make a resurgance.
