I am pleased that the error was forgiven but folks just gotta remember, your paycheck is still the company's money and if they overpay in error, you are legally bound to repay them.

No he's not, how the heck did he know he wasn't entitled to that money. I mean with having his armed torn off and everything for his country, one can see why he thought it was due him.

what??? he is entitled??? its not a disability check that he pocketed, it was a disbursing error! everyone in the military knows almost to the penny what they will be getting during any given scenario. i could understand if it was a few hundred while he was over there, but 2k?? come on!
