It depends. USA was formed from the separate states which were sharing the same culture and very similar institutions and elected their own authorities, while the status of national leadership was to be defined yet. It required several generations and one extremely bloody civil war to achieve a stable federal structure. Other countries or nations have to choose what is best for them.
My point is that if Russia emulates the system of Poland or France it is not any atrocity which requires condemnation or retaliation.
If we are the most successful country ever, why would we ever want to support a system that never seems to really thrive.
One size does not fit everyone. And to say that America is the most "successful country ever" is more an expression of your emotion than a meaningful statement. Can you say that eagles are the most "successful birds ever" and that all other birds like ducks, hummingbirds and emus should emulate their life style?
So, you are Polish huh? I didn't come up that phrase on my own you know. Based on many different criteria it fits. That's not emotion. Sorry. :)
Don't get me wrong I think Poland is a wonderful country and has lots of great things about it.
We won't discuss France. :)
I do agree that there is not a one size fits all method of government.
Your comments were interesting and appropriate in many ways.
I still have concern over Russia having so many changes in government systems in so many years. That can't possibly be good.
A country that is founded that way is fine.
One in near constant turmoil (in the whole scheme of time thing) like Russia doesn't seem very stable.
It sure seems like something to keep a close eye on.
