I don't have a problem with anyone making money. However, Kerik exercised his options LAST MONTH, after the election. He had to know at that time that he was a strong contender for the job and that these transactions would at least raise suspicions.

it was in fact more honest to exercise them last month - before becoming DHS head. This way, any stock appreciation in TASR due to contracts with DHS, Kerik would not have benefitted from those gains - which he should not have.
