When was the "No Controlling Legal Authority" on Algore's dial-up donations in the WH issued?
I guess I won't hold my breath for the other alphabet networks to report on this matter and so I will just have to send this article around to my e-mail group to help ensure wider news coverage.

The 'Toon legacy just keeps on giving. As you all know, over six years ago (before Monica) I was repeating "it is going to take us thirty years to recover from the Clinton years" - and that after we only knew about his giveaway (via Loral) of satellite staging and encryption technology to Red China, allowing Boeing to sell them the advanced milling machines needed to produce (for example) super quiet submarines, and the total lack of attention to the India-Pakistan situation that failed to follow through with the Reagan and even the Carter legacy of discouraging their joining the "nuclear club". President Bush has been able to purge much of his other eggregious sullying of the office especially to the Office itself and respect for the military. However, since that time, the obvious results of an increasing number of his failures (including North Korea, OBL and the Intel Community) have come to light, some of which we didn't have solid information about five years ago.
The Ninety's were a total disaster for this country's foreign policy objectives.
This, in all honesty, ought to be tried in a Court of the UN somehow, or even the I.C.C., though the US is not a party to that. That body could really bring heat on Rich and his buddies. Since he has not set foot in the US since 2001, anything our government does against him personally is probably not bound to be very effective.

I've been telling my husband since the 90's that we will probably be dead before the history books discover the truth behind the illegalities in the Clinton years.
It will take another generation of reporters who actually believe in investigative work vs. covering for their guy.
Rich must want to be able to come back here, or he wouldn't have paid for that pardon. He can always be tried in absentia. Then if he's convicted, he'll have to pray Hilliary's elected so he can buy himself another pardon.

Question from me: Could Toon's pardon be construed in any way to cover any of Rich's OFF involvement? Or does a pardon have to cover a specific crime that one had been convicted of? Can it be used as a retroactive get-out-of-jail-free-card?
Most criminals never stop unless incarcerated or killed.
Marc Rich and William Jefferson Criminal are no exceptions.
Considering that Kerik has withdrawn his name from consideration, there's no reason for this to be such a big story except for the media's ongoing quest to destroy Bush and Guliani through Kerik.
And we can get around the media's ignoring the Rich story by sending it to our e-mail lists. Those people will share the story with people and so on.
And this way, the story lives on!

Kerik is a hot story..for a few days..especially the two mistresses, including Judith Reagan...it's to be expected..and the MSM is also trying to drive a perceived wedge between Rudy and W..but something will break very soon..If the OFF stall continues..and the UN tries to finess Volker..you'll see the US loan to the UN for the buildig pulled, and possiblty the whole US contributon yanked as well..The other countries at the UN will sacrifice Kofi, and his pack.. to save it. Look..for the first time ever, most NYers want the UN to go away..
Well, his pardon doesn't cover stuff that occurred AFTER his pardon, right? So, we can still nail him, and Clinton wasted a Pardon like an idiot.
