We would agree, as long as you are not suggesting that the House of Judah is dead, withered, irrelevent, cut-off, etc.

There are two houses. The House of Israel does not replace the House of Judah. It was the House of Israel which was utterly "lost" to history. They are not going to be found at the expense of Judah. Those who believe that only confirm their condition of being lost.

Just to be clear on that.

'We would agree, as long as you are not suggesting that the House of Judah is dead, withered, irrelevent, cut-off, etc.'

Well, I just lost what I had been working on for the last 20 minutes or so. Anyway, I never said Judah was cut off. The House of Judah became Christians as well. The whole purpose of the House of Judah was to provide the Messiah. Jesus came to bind up the breach between the two tribes. But I guess you know better than He. And I guess you and I will have to still agree to disagree.

Retrieved a few passage:

1Ki 11:13 — Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; [but] will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen. http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/1Ki/11/13.html

http://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/Luk/Luk001.html#32

Luk 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Luk/1/32.html

Luk 1:33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.

Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. http://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/Rev/Rev005.html#5

Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Rev/5/13.html

Rev 19:16 — And he hath on [his] vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. http://www.blueletterbible.org/tsk_b/Rev/19/16.html

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. http://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/Rev/Rev011.html#15

So no, 'the House of Judah is NOT dead, withered, irrelevent, cut-off, etc.' , not by a long shot.

If I misunderstand you, my apologies.
