I had a problem with the way CBS broke into CSI: New York. First of all, they were the only network to break in, and they did it only 5 minutes before the news was supposed to start anyway. Second, they didn't break in to announce the "facts," as this author would have it. They broke in to do a 20 minute piece on how great Arafat was. They broke into the climatic final moments of a decent show to wax poetic over the "loss" of a terrorist. As formulaic as CSI can be, it has more redeeming value than Arafat, and I didn't need to hear CBS go on about Arafat as a "peacemaker."
