there is no direct, concrete proof. Like you said, circumstantial. There's no way I could give him the death penalty just because I was reasonably sure he committed the crime.That's my gut feeling, too.
But then again... I thought they'd find him not guilty, so what do I know?

I thought the guilt phase would be about whether or not he was guilty, and the penalty phase would be about what the penalty should be. Silly me.
