TESTING THE FAITH City will prosecute Christian protesters
A federal appeals court denied an emergency appeal to stop prosecution of 11 Philadelphia-area Christians who allege the District Attorney's office retaliated against them for exercising their constitutional rights at a homosexual event in which they were arrested and later charged with felonies...the group was "preaching God's Word" to a crowd of people attending the outdoor Philadelphia "OutFest" event and displaying banners with biblical messages....the eleven Christians were arrested and spent a night in jail.(they were charged with)3 felonies and 5 misdemeanors. The charges were criminal conspiracy, possession of instruments of crime (NOTE:Bibles), reckless endangerment of another person, ethnic intimidation, riot, failure to disperse, disorderly conduct and obstructing highways. (...a video) show(ed) the Philadelphia 11 cooperated with police and were continually harassed by the Pink Angels.None of the Pink Angels was cited or arrested. The protesters say a Philadelphia police officer told them that because they were on a public sidewalk they were permitted to move freely through the event. The Christians are respectful and courteous to the officers. A fat police chief with a red armband (how appropriate) saying "POLICE" harasses the Christians and threatens them. The homosexuals are the ones blocking the public sidewalk and intimidating people time and again. No action is taken against them.
This is one of the most outrageous things I have seen. All the Christians did was walk on the sidewalk, sing, and hold up signs. Welcome to Germany, 1934.

This makes my heart hurt. It's been slowly building to this type of situation for years. If they're allowed to get away with this and set it as a precedence it'll be hard to stop. It's gone too far now as First Amendment Rights have been violated and those involved are being persecuted and discriminated against. And the activist courts are the problem.
I do fear this case marks the beginning of the end of our Rights. They say no one can take away those Rights, you must give them up. Well, I'm not giving anything up! I will gladly stand up and defend them, today!
