I think that you are on to something!
"Cheap" labor," virtually free domestic help, and the elimination of the looming 10-trillion dollar obligation faced by our ruling class of both Parties! That's why they are the anointed ones and we're not.
This is not sarcasm.
Meanwhile the Bush Republicans are whistling and singing, "Look on the bright side of things."
I originally wrote it tongue in cheek, but as I read it through again, it made more sense to me also. It did not make me feel good reflecting about it.
