I agree. Is the public supposed to be shocked that policemen constantly break the law when off-duty or retired from the force?
The cops I have know where big drinkers and drove drunk all the time.
Many of the cops I've known have been the same. I once was in a car with the cop friend driving...he stopped at a convenience store and bought something. He started driving again, while pulling out the BIG bottle of liquor and was swilling it all the way to our destination. I was just stupefied.
