For the more than 20 million Americans suffering from asthma (including 6.1 million children), a cure may be looking no farther than the lemons in your refrigerator.
According to a study at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, a key to preventing asthma might be found in a lemon, a rose or a pine tree. In the study, inhalation of limonene, the main component found in the essential oil of citrus, prevented asthma symptoms in animals. The findings were published in the journal Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry.

Olives (and the oil they contain) have certain benefits. Now, it appears that the oil contained in lemon peel is beneficial, as well.
Obviously, those of us who enjoy a martini or two are faced with a decision. Or perhaps not -- maybe the key words are "or two." One with an olive, followed by one with a twist for dessert.
Eucalyptus oil is much better. I've used it for lung problems. Inhaling colloidal silver via a nebulizer can cure lung (bronchial) infections. Not all, but many.
Are they talking of a "cure" here or just help for an attack?
I have had it since a 3 year old. In the hospital a couple times for a week with it et al. I wish I could run and hike hard again...heck even work like a horse, like I used to, would make me happy. As it is now I can do those things but have to really pay mind and tune in to myself or its off to the doctors.
i hope this is true. i am on prednisone right now because i have an upper respiratory thing going on. and everyone knows, that with asthma, upper respiratory viruses or infections are hell on asthma
My brother swears by Colloidal Silver. He makes his own Colloidal Silver Solution and drinks it everyday, or so he says. Of course he is often mistaken for an alien because it gives him a gray complexion. (Just Kidding. Only if you overdose on it will the gray show up on your skin.)
I've been on Prednisone also and got off. I used to take a drug called MARAX and it worked wonders. Yet they quit making it and I had to switch to Accolate. What a joke that crap is. That and Maxair! I hate those stupid inhalors even more now that they quite making them in the old delivery methods. The delivery gas was suppose to damage the OZONE or something. Now its a metered dose and I use the dam thing all the time...more than I should in matter of fact.
You watch yourself on that Prednisone. It'll screw your immune system up if you dont watch it. But it appears you'll not take it that long. Its long term usage that'll do damage.

thanks, i am only on it for 9 days thank God. i don't think i could stand it any longer than that. it makes me soooo jittery.
One inch of Eucalyptus oil in a clean beer bottle. Shake and swill it around then inhale quickly through one nostril. Block the other nostril with a finger. Do for 10-20 minutes
Will clear sinuses and lungs. Peppermint oil works great too.
