Look, was there starvation in Ukraine, you betcha. Was it only Ukraine, not on your life. Stalin started a policy of forced industrialization and collectivization, the Kulaks (fists, or middle class farmers) resisted. He butchered 9 million in Russia, 5 million in Ukraine and 2 million in Belaruss. I don't know how many in Khazakstan.

Yushchenko advises fascist thugs to support Yanukovych

Victor Yushchenko suggested that the leader of the party UNA-UNSO Eduard Kovalenko supported the pro-authoritative presidential contender.

The other day I have applied to the Kovalenko’s chiefs for giving such a support to the pro-authoritative candidate or Medvedchuk rather than me, reported Yushchenko at the press conference upon the signing of the coalition treaty with the Yulia Tymoshenko Bloc.

It was reported that last Saturday in Kyiv there was a parade of the UNA-UNSO party that has nothing in common with the UNA-UNSO organization headed by Andriy Shkil, YTB member. During this meeting Kovalenko’s UNA-UNSO declared the support of Yushchenko with the fascist signs, SSS symbols and gestures in Hitlerite manner.

Friday Yushchenko expressed his resentment against this action: «I have been trying to obtain permission for the meeting in Khreshchatyk for three years and the rascals with swastika succeeded.

Yushchenko also pointed out that this rally’s participants had earned Hr 40 for their work. He refuted arguments stating that nationalists gave him backing during election campaign.

According to the leader of Our Ukraine he met with the Prychornomorya Russians the day before. We had no problem. [Nationalists’ backing] is a fable meant to stir up confrontation, Yushchenko reported.

Soros and MoveOn tried to call Bush a nazi too. Now his oligarch buddies who run the Ukrainian media are doing it to Yushchenko.

You mean this Taras Chornovil? - Taras Chornovil is the son of the late nationalist leader Vyacheslav Chornovil, and his appointment as an adviser to presidential candidate Viktor Yanukovich on West-Ukrainian affairs earlier this year provoked much criticism in nationalist circles. He will head Yanukovich’s campaign headquarters in the repeat of the controversial second round of Ukrainian presidential elections.

Funny how all the people you accuse of supporting Yushchenko turn out to be Yanukovych supporters.

How dare you cover up the fact that more Ukrainians died fighting Fascism (and communism!)than any other country during WWII. And is'nt it convenient that Stalin built his factories on the far side of Ukraine, and not on the far side of Moscow from Germany.

HERE are the facts - Ukraine lost more than any other single country!

Byelorussia lost 2,198,000 civilians. The Russian SFSR, or Russia, lost 1,781,000 civilians and about 3 to 4 million military or about 5 to 6 million total according to Kosyk. "
