Aw, quit patting yourselves on the backs! We already know that you can get news and information faster and more accurately on FR than anywhere else. The only problem seems to be those pesky duplicate threads...
If it weren't for dupe threads, we'd have no threads at all,
Gloom, despair and agony on me!
God bless JimRob!

Yes.
I prefer being referred to as "soul-less abomination", but I usually only hear that while on dates or at the library.

For those of you who just stumble around Instapundit, Hugh Hewitt, Powerline or The Corner, and a couple of internet sites to get your dose of non-Ratherised news, you may not have ever heard of a "Freeper".Who's this guy kidding? Okay, I have heard of Hugh Hewitt, but are these other sites for real? Worth bothering with? They are websites, right?
To: Darksheare
Well we all must strive towards our goals. :)

"Here's an example of the wit, sarcasm, sincerity, & speed of the Freepers:...." Exactly why I quit posting at lgf and registered and became a donor here.
Not that lgf was bad, just much better here.

In cases like Rathergate, a bogus story can be proven false, spread all over the world, and completely discrediting of the original reporter before he/she comes to work the next morning.Damned right!

In essence, this is the heart of FR.
This, and the counterprotests.
BTW, His Slickness would not have been impeached if not for FR. There were several Congressional Republican invertebrates that were getting all squishy about Impeaching His Slickness.
The FR Judgment Day event of early December 1998 put some spine where there was none before.
We can truthfully and proudly say that because of us His slickness has to be referred to as:
William J. Clinton, Impeached President.
God bless the dress!

If there is a punch line in a news story, no matter how tasteless, at least one Freeper is going to use it. I resemble that remark.
