"If she thinks that she can re-package herself as a conservative, she better think twice."
And if you think for a moment, that Republican presidential prospects can misunderestimate Hillary, think again.
Just as Bush used his political capital to BLOCK meaningful limitation on immigrant driver licenses, Hillary is moving to take the position left void.
If Bush favors illegal immigrants, over American citizens, Hillary may successfully claim that position.
And on, and on, issue by issue.
She will get "face time" on the media. Her likely opponents will be hard pressed to get noticed, for the next three years.
I am not saying she will win. She may not even get the nomination. But if she does get the nomination, she will be a strong candidate.
She will not be from Massachusettes, and she will not be a liberal (in perception).
These people usually get ONE shot. Dukakis, Mondale, Gore, Kerry were not very good.
Hillary will be better. She and Bill are smart at politics. Not the best, but good.
Bush is very good. Rove is excellent. But he may NOT be involved in 2008.
She's not from MA but she is from NY. She is a liberal. Another liberal northeast senator will not fly. She's no babe from IL anymore, nor the "little missus" from Arkansas. She wanted to be a New Yorker, and by golly, she is one now. BTW, she doesn't even own property ownside the NY/DC circuit.
Hillary will be better. She and Bill are smart at politics. Not the best, but good
Billy would NEVER have won had it not been for Perot!!!
