President Bush indeed deserves to be honored as Man of the Year, even if by the less-than-illustrious
Time.
While the Time piece is barbed, that in the long run will be forgotten and only the memory of the honor will remain.

Pity. My vote goes for the American G.I.

Bush said he relishes that some people dislike him.
"I think the natural instinct for most people in the political world is that they want people to like them," Bush said. "On the other hand, I think sometimes I take kind of a delight in who the critics are."

Time calls George Bush "The Man of the Year" and still manages to bash him. They say the media isnt biased. LMFAO.
To: alnick
And now, the Jerk of the Year:
Candidates...
Teresa Heinz
Gigolo Kerry
John McPain
Michael Shamu Moore
Whoopi Goldcrap
Chevy Over The Hill Chase
Time Magazine only wants to sell more magazines. I agree that the American Soldier was also a good choice.
To: crushelits
Oh this will cause a shitstorm with the libs!!! Man I love it! Time to run over to DU to watch the wailing, gnashing of teeth and wring of hands.

Kelly said that there were alot of Americans that wish W wouldn't have won..........but there were about 3 million more that wanted him to WIN and win he did! Case closed. By TIME's standard, EVERY president in the history of the country is illegimate because millions of people voted against him.
