A couple of DC chapter freepers have decided to do a $1000 "Christmas for Don and Terri" drive.
We will match dollar for dollar all contributions up to a total aggregated maximum of $1000.
The original thread is here.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1298998/posts
Envelopes must be postmarked after Dec. 15, 2004 and before Dec. 25, 2004 and the envelope must have "Merry Christmas" on it. And that means "Xmas" or "Happy Holidays" will not do. Neither will "Merry secular gift giving day"
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

An address would help to get that Merry Christman envelope to the right place.

When did FR become a medium for holding out tin cups for FReepers?
This is the second one of these beg-a-thons in the last month.

We are still cleaning up the mess the Clintons left.
Read the original article and decide for yourself.
And no one is begging you. It is all voluntary and of your own free will.

Don is the first conservative casualty I can remember in the repercussion of a freep. First time I heard the word 'freep' too.

I followed the link posted later in the thread. And I agree with you - this is a worthy cause.
My question was rhetorical in nature. Posters shouldn't automatically assume that readers know who is being discussed.

It's a poverty that you apparently don't know basic FReeper history nor understand how important the defense of the Adamses is.

It's a poverty that you apparently don't know basic FReeper history nor understand how important the defense of the Adamses is. Last month we had Race Bannon, this month it's the Adamses.
I'm just remarking on a new mission that FR apparently now has, that of raising money for legal defenses of any FReeper in a lawsuit.
