Your original point was that three Bushes elected president would mean a dictatorship. That is the point I think is silly.

47% of Americans want more polling while 37% want less polling. 16% said that John Kerry may still win Ohio.

I believe it is 53% now, with OVER 6 million american voter margin.

I also believe more than 60% turned out to vote.

THAT has to keep democrats awake at night.

I don't believe Jeb Bush WANTS to be president, not after what they've put his brother through. No sane man would!

However, if either Pee Wee Herman or Pat Paulson try for the Dim ticket, Kerry would not survive the Primaries.

Kerry would not beat Jeb in 2008 because Jeb wouldn't run.

In 2012, Jeb will defeat all comers including a Hillary re-election.

In 2008, the best bet is Frist. Give him a shot...he could be another GREAT president. Many don't know it, but he's got an 89% ACU rating as a conservative.

If we have found one family that has the clear vision and answers to the terrorist troubles in our time, why not support them indefinitely? Some of our readers appear to be overly protective of the old American ways and too connected to this "constitutional" framework. Why should we not ignore empty phrases and give the Bush Family their true powers and destiny? Let all of them rule as they see fit. We need to contribute everything we have, including our homes and our children to help George Bush and his family fight this unending war with Evil. Gott mit unds.

What a stupid comment. Since you signed up today I suspect you are a troll.

too connected to this "constitutional" framework

Jeb would have to win an election which is part of the "constitutional framework". Is there something in the Constitution that does not allow three presidents with the same last name?

I think nominating any of these guys would be a mistake. Frist has been a lackluster SMJ and is not very charismatic. Pataki is a RINO. Jeb's last name is Bush and that's not gonna play a third time over.

We know that McCain and Rudy would beat Kerry or Hillary, but we don't HAVE to nominate one of them to do so. There are plenty of other similar candidates who don't have McCain's disloyalty problems nor Rudy's social liberalism. Mitt Romney is one. Tim Pawlenty is another. The list is quite long actually.

I know its some leftist because some Dem on C-Span a while ago admitted that the ironic thing about the FOX poll is that it is done by the OD people which is head by a former protoge of Pat Cadell and that that protoge is even more leftist than Pat Cadell.

Trust me, Cliff Elkins is a troll. Check his other post, the one about stem cells. Creative choice for a name though. I'm surprised he didn't pick Cletus or something instead.

Oh, I see, kind of like when they voted for FDR 3 times in a row before the laws about running more than twice were enacted and our country became a dictatorship after WWII/sarcasm off. This is bull. Presidency is elected not inherited. I doubt if Jeb Bush will run but your reasoning is flawed to put it mildly.

Yep. And look how far off the Fox poll was on Election Day. It's a credit to the American people. That's why I don't take too much stock in polls.

I agree. This poll reveals surprising weakness for both Kerry and Clinton, since the hypothetical opponents are basically unknown outside their home states and news junkies.
