Incorrect. I am simply pointing out inaccuracys. FYI I am an Oklahoman first, American second. I also believe that any of the 13 original colonies have a right to suceed from the voluntary union of states for any reason whatsoever.

Also, the founders left no doubt about the right of states to suceed from the union if they felt it necessary.

Why do you think that Jefferson Davis was not brought up with charges of treason? The SCOTUS would have ruled that succession is legal. Once again, what would you do if some people from another state came to your home town and started rounding up all of the males and raping the women of said town, then burning all crops, while stealing anything of value? I would find the largest group fighting that massive murdering horde and join their ranks.

I'm originally from Pennsylvania and I believe the Union is perpetual and unbreakable. I also believe that secession is treason and traitors should be dealt with harshly.

The murdering, burning and raping you refer to is how was fought back then. War is hell -- bad things happen to innocent people. If you don't want those bad things to happen, don't be a traitor and don't piss off the US of A.
