Not the same. If you had said, "If I had a gun, I'd shoot Clinton" that's a threat, because you may find a gun.

I said that he should be impeached, that he should be convicted of the articles of impeachment, that he should therefore be removed from office, that he should be tried in criminal court for a variety of things, that he should do prison time, that he is a liar, a rapist, a pervert, a traitor, that he is corrupt in many ways, and generally a low-down scum sucking sonofabitch ...

but I don't believe I ever advocated doing violence to him.

She and her husband used an explosive device that they tested on a power substation in Iowa. The test was in preparation of using a similar device on the White House to kill the president. I happen to know Catherine Guertin, and she was recently evicted from our apartment complex for violent acts against another resident. She is a loony-toon who is a former mental patient, as was her husband. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity regarding the explosive device incident.
