US Base in Mosul Attacked!

MOSUL, Iraq — An explosion struck a U.S. military base near the northern city of Mosul (search) and there were conflicting reports on the cause and casualties. A Defense Department official said at least 22 people were killed and at least 50 people were injured in the blast, which was believed to have struck a dining hall. Officials were not naming the installation that was attacked. Witnesses said the shelling occurred at the Al Ghizlani military camp, about 5 kilometers (3 miles) south of the city...

Lots of new weapons have been combat tested in Iraq. I say its time to test another. The neutron bomb.

It's long past due. But this is just more proof that we should not increase the number of troops. You don't fight a guerilla war with large armies. It just increases the number of targets.
The key is intelligence, and targeted strikes--not numbers.

Looks like the terrorists are stepping up their offensive to get us to surrender and get the elections there cancelled.
We won't never surrender and the elections will take place on January 30. It will be mean a big defeat for the terrorists.
