...purchase products from queer owned or queer friendly merchants. When you are in the market for a new home, car, insurance, etc, support people who support your family. If you need help at work or at home, hire queer people to do things.

Hmm. I wonder how the author of this piece would react if I suggested everyone only purchase from straight-owned merchants... or only hire heterosexual people to help at work or home. How long before I was called hateful, bigoted, a homophobe?

I wouldn't knowingly hire a homosexual or for that matter an adulterous heterosexual. Both are out of control and cannot be trusted.
