Well, I know that *I* would be intollerant of a math teacher teaching anything but math. What he does out of class or away from school is another matter... but schools are bad enough with math teachers preaching and English teachers going off on political rants.

It might have been me.

As an unabashed Christian, the last thing in the world I would want (if I sent my children to the hell holes that government schools have become) would be some government employee proselytizing to my children. I choose the spiritual teachers of my children very carefully.

Doesn't sound like there was much class going on to ruin. A math teacher has no business discussing what people want on their tombstones.

Nope. He was hired to teach math, not preach. I agree with other posters, he should find a different type of school where that is allowed.

NO, he's there to teach math, not religion. What does, "WHAT WOULD YOU WANT ON YOUR TOMBSTONE?" have to do with religion? He doesn't belong in the public school system.
