I can appreciate and respect his convictions, but he did not use wisdom. He was hired to teach math and let his convictions to God and Christ get in the way of that. It is kind of fraudulent of him to agree to get paid to teach math, then spend so much class room time speaking of his faith.
From this article, it is unclear how effective he was at teaching math. I don't remember my math teachers ever taking the whole class time talking about math. On the contrary, we spent a whole lot of time playing. (in Calculus and Trig and Algebra 2 and and and)
I'm not real keen on the praying part. When did Jesus pray? I believe we should follow His example in that regard.
Where is one most likely to hear talk of a vague 'fact' of evolution on a college campus? The biology classroom - or the physics lecture hall?
Where is one most likely to encounter unthinking radical feminism? In philosophy - or a history class?
You have to object to all that, as well. That thinking pervades socialist academia, and is the betrayal of all the hard work those kids put in, and for all their parents sacrifice to get them there. You must object to what they encounter there, as well, and back down into k-12.
