Drunken men more often deserve beatings.

The article says that he slapped her during a late-night drunken shouting match. I suspect she was bombed, too.

And that goes double for my ultra-lib, hyphenated-surname brother-in-law (he put his wife's last name ahead of his own)!

No woman deserves a beating from a drunk spouse.

I say this as a woman who was attacked by a drunk (now ex) spouse and who has a hyphenated surname.

Would Xena agree with you, that some women, for whatever reason, deserve a beating?

Well, at least you got some responses.

Here I am jammin' to Montgomery Gentry when I read this by Xenalyte. LOL. The biggest laugh I have gotten today, and I needed it. Xena's still one of my favorite Freepers.

I would never marry a woman who wanted to hyphenate her name. I don't care if she owns a business.
