At this point, I'm content with the plan of crushing the terrorists and building democracy in the Middle East.
If the Islamofascists pull off something big (and I think you know what I mean by "big") here in America, I want George Bush to see to it that future generations will find the Middle East only in history books.

Actually if you read the intelligence FR threads on notebooks confiscated, you see that there was a lot of arguing in the senior ranks over who they should hit..Isreal, England, or US.
And all of this bc Billy didn't take the Cole and first WTC bombing seriously. Suppose its better that we dealt now rather than wait til they had a nuke...silver lining and all that.
You are correct, of course, for patriots and most Freepers.
My use of the word "we" was intended to extrapolate that suspicion into the general herd of sheeple.

I've got news for you: if female bombers are going to smuggle plastique onto a plane, it won't be in their bras. And good luck trying to search them there.

Europe is low hanging fruit. It can't hit back like we can and it's infested with Islamists. Also, we're a lot harder to get at than we were before 9/11. If Al Qaeda wants to demonstrate it can still mount a major attack they could do it in Europe a lot easier than here. Maybe Europe's appeasement strategy hasn't worked and now it's their turn.

Beyond the question of whether that's a good idea, I still stand in amazement that people seriously expect there to be any conceivable circumstance where that would happen, or actually conceive that it's been discussed in the government (I'd bet every penny I own it's not.)
