Kerry Conceded Too Soon, Jackson Asserts
Chicago Tribune ^ | Thu, Dec. 23, 2004 | JOHN BEBOW

Claiming Ohio's 2004 election results were more troubling than Florida's four years ago, the Rev. Jesse Jackson on Thursday said Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry called it quits too soon.

"Kerry conceded much too quickly, before the facts were in," Jackson said in a conference call with reporters to discuss an ongoing challenge to Ohio's election results.

"When he pulled the plug, the national media left as well," Jackson said of Kerry's concession on Nov. 3, the day after the election.

Since then, a Jackson-led group claims to have uncovered a wide range of voting irregularities in the Buckeye State, including tabulations that contradicted early exit polls pointing to a Kerry victory, voting machine errors, absentee ballot counting errors, and inaccurate directions given to voters trying to get to polling places.

The concerns are detailed in a 41-page petition contesting the election before the Ohio Supreme Court.

Jackson's Rainbow/PUSH Coalition plans a "Pro Democracy - Count Every Vote Rally" on Jan. 3. across the street from the Ohio state Capitol in Columbus.

Presidential candidates of the Green and Libertarian parties funded a statewide recount of the Ohio vote. The recount gave an additional 346 votes to Bush and 494 more votes to Kerry. Earlier this month, Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth Blackwell certified Bush as the winner of the state, with 2.86 million votes, or about 51 percent, compared with Kerry's 2.74 million votes, or about 49 percent.

Voting systems expert Daniel Tokaji told The Associated Press that the Jackson-led election challenge raised significant concerns but did not offer proof that Kerry actually won the state.

"These are very strong arguments for revamping Ohio's election system," said Tokaji, an assistant professor of law at Ohio State University. But he said assertions that Kerry won "rest more on wishful thinking than evidence."

"Kerry conceded much too quickly, before the facts were in," Jackson said..."

Jackson's choice of words reveals his repugnant intent. He claims Kerry conceded before all the 'facts' were in, instead of saying 'before all the votes were in. Politicians seeking election follow the votes, criminals seeking to steal an election through lawyers need to follow the 'facts'.

Isn't that the truth. Not to mention Dems expect President Bush to give it up based on exit polls! No votes or facts were present for those exit polls, but hey, it served their agenda!

Here's how low he's fallen: I write topical jokes for radio stations, and I'm not even bothering to write jokes about his pitiful Ohio delusions for tomorrow's edition. There's no point in writing even the best topical joke in the world if it's about a subject that doesn't matter and that nobody cares about. Jesse's not even important enough to mock anymore.

Kerry conceded much too quickly, before the facts were in.

That ain't what he said. He said, "Kerry conceded much too quickly, before the cash was in."

Except for the warped hard-left rank-and-file, the dems know the exit polls were skewed and are just pretending that they were correct and that the voting was fraudulent--if they really believed the early exit polls were accurate, then they'd be investigating PA, where a massive amount of gop cheating must have occurred for Bush to lose only by 2% when he was supposed to lose by 20, NH where Bush lost by 1% instead of 17%, VA where Bush was supposed to win by only 1%, WI where Bush was supposed to lose by 5% but lost by less than 1% and so on and so forth /sarcasm.

How come they're not concerned about all this rampant gop fraud that went on in so many other states? Why only interested in OH and FL? Because their claims are bogus, that's why.

If this knucklehead wants to keep this up then he should be forced to foot the bill and court cost > why should the taxpayers pay for this waste of time?

2-Noam Chomsky

Good call. As you might guess from my username I spent a good amount of time in his proximity. The thing that stinks about this particular anti-American crackpot is the syncophantic students he has in his posse...all the usual suspects of 'social justice' advocates, socialists, anti-war types and nonconformist dirtbags.

It's like they've given up independent thought and gone to hero-worship instead.

Jesse is the Christmas gift that keeps on giving. Wishful thinking is all libs have for the holidays. We mustn't take their last crutch away from them - and if they want to, by all means let them spend the next four years in another daydream.
