If the government did shoot down the flight, I have got to say that it was at once a courageous, unavoidable and tragic necessity.

This is all that I was trying to say.

My argument is against the people who attempt to use a tragic event like this against our government. What is their motivation, other than aiding the enemy?

All evidence today points to the outstanding citizens of that aircraft, as being responsible for heroic actions.

If, because of scientific forensic evidence that we learn another story of the actual events, it simply does not matter.

I question the people who dare to trivialize the actions of that day.

The people, on the aircraft, were American heroes!

Hunble, I completely agree with your comments. If anyone is trying to make points off this tragedy, that is wrong. This situation was a lose lose, and the government can't win in situations like this.

If there were room to criticize, it would be at the national security level, and it would be limited to strategic foresite and planning.

Once this situation developed, it was too late for the politicos to do anything more than what they did. That's my take on it. I do not blame the Bush administration for this. Some undoubtedly do. I think that's absurd.
