The escalation of terrorism against religious places of worship, holy sites and believers in Iraq is causing non-Muslim minorities to flee in ever increasing numbers, threatening their survival, says an independent panel in a letter to President Bush.

The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, created by Congress to advise the president and secretary of state, said it has urgently requested a meeting with Bush to discuss the "dire" situation.

Today Washington Post has an article written by a Muslim activist who hate Christmas, and who wants schools to create a floating holiday for people of different religions to take for their own religion, Jews/Muslims/Buddhists/Christians…

My question to the President and the government of the United State is: It is fair to respect the followers of minority religions in the US if, and only IF other countries of these minority religions reciprocate such respect. Any other explanation dealing with we are good and they are barbarians does not make any sense! Separation of church and state does not make any sense either. THE ONLY THING AT PLAY HERE IS FAIRNESS AND DEMANDING FROM BARBARIANS TO BE FAIR TO OTHERS. The US has less than 4% of our population who claimed to be Jews or Muslims. In the mean times a country like Egypt has 10-15% of Christians. We give Egypt 3 billion dollars per year to feed its hungry angry population without REQUIRING from them to reciprocate the respect of others religions. No wonder they keep walking allover us. The hate ideologies against Christians and Jews were invented in Egypt in the 1920s. Its theology of hate from the world largest Muslim university exports such hostility to others, and encourages violence against us. As a matter of fact the second in command in the Al Qaeida is an Egyptian, and the misfits that attempted blow up the World trade Center in the mid nineties were Egyptians.

The government of the US must stand up, and demand from all Muslim countries to respect their minorities, or we will react by 1) treating their minorities here in the same way, and 2) stop financial aids or economic cooperation. That HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE, Mr. ACLU/Mr. Muslim activist! That is DEMANDING RESPECT, AND FAIRNESS TO ALL AND FROM ALL by the world only superpower. If Saudi Arabia is allowed to build thousands of mosques in the US, and not allow us to build one single church in their country, then ask yourself WHO IS THE BITCH in this relationship?

It is my understanding that there is escalation of terrorism against virtually all religious factions within Iraq - other than militant Islamicists. And that's because it is the militant Islamicists who are perpetrating the terror. Christianity is not singled out in this equation. Besides, true followers of Jesus have already counted the cost.

The security situation does seem the result of committee and just good enough for government work - a peacetime Army solution, if you will. You recently had a contractor walk into that tent and blew himself up. No security. People working with the Americans practically cover their faces at work. No security for themselves, or their families.

Something's not right with this picture. A resistance movement is one thing. But the 'idea' in this case isn't from a resistance so much as from neighboring countries hoping to overthrow US efforts. Iran and Syria are AT WAR with us. They've infiltrated Iraq. And Pres. Bush is going to have to let people know this - sooner or later. This will be among his next big challenges.

So - you wanted to be President, huh? If people are afraid of gangsters, you have to remove the gangsters. But if people are afraid of commando units streaming in over the border, then they don't know that their enemy won't find them once the previous group is detained. This isn't CA or AR, Mr. President. Your 'open border' policy isn't going to work in Iraq.
