I stand by my statement. I have seen many Communist governments and if they are not totalitarian then they are not Communist. A Communist is a dictatorship period. If you want to live in a Communist government then go to Cuba.

I have good friends living under communism and totalitarian regimes. I know very well what those governments are all about. It is not pretty, but making up lies to further your distain doesn't do anyone any good and just cheapens your point. There are plenty of horror stories I can relate from friends in Laos and Burma, but none involve them being persecuted for their religious beliefs so you would probably not be interested in them.
