December 27, 2004 -- Oprah for president! That's who Americans want in the White House, according to a new Harris pop-culture poll done for Parade magazine.
When 3,077 adults were asked whom they'd most like to see run for president, the talk-show queen won with 21 percent.
After Oprah, we voted for Bill O'Reilly, with 8 percent, Will Smith, with 7 percent, and Jon Stewart, Donald Trump and Richard Gere, all tied with 6 percent.
