I have been overjoyed to see Ukraine finally emerge from the political swamp that has been its existence since independence from the Soviets. Even though I would like to see Ukraine eventually get into the European Union, I really wouldn't like it to join Nato. Like it or not, Ukrainians can't ignore their relationship with Russia (for better or worse) and joining NATO would be a little too antagonistic toward Russia (who has always suffered from paranoia in one form or another). Alot has to be said of the Ukrainian diaspora (esp. in North America) who have always encouraged their brothers and sisters to march toward freedom. FREEDOM THROUGH TECHNOLOGY
Ukraine should stay away from Nato, EU and Russian empire. Be neutral like biiig Switzerland.
Jumping from one empire to another sucks. Euuuu will fall appart sooner than it took Soviet "paradise" to crumble.
