Well, apparently I'm not the only one on this thread who thinks you're saying the same thing I said, so I'm pretty confident I made my case.
Your excuse is very akin to "It depends on what the meaning of "is" is."
I'd say agreeing with another poster who claims it is like saying it yourself.
