"Only the Devil, the kennedy "family" and the rest of the Mob have any idea whatsoever how he was ever and/or is ever elected to public office."
The anti war scam went a long way here and it lifted this ahole all the way to the Senate.

Can you imagine having a conversation with JFK about minutiae ? I'm thinking the Beacon Hill Architectural Commission caved to stop being bored to tears and to just shut him up.ROFL ...... maybe white raisin ladened Teraayza accompanied John-Jaquestrap Effin Shove It S.O.B Teresa Mamma T Winthrop Simoes-Ferreira Al Qerry-Heinz III to the discussions berating the dear folks on the Architectural Commission --"you people probably haven't had a real job since you've been adults", and they then caved.

Actually it was Ter-ray-zuh who wanted the hydrant moved. She used to park her white SUV right next to the hydrant and accumulated lots of tickets. BTW her license was something like HNZ57. Maybe some other freeper can remember exactly what the license number was.

This ranks up there with Howard Dean's bike path. No, it doesn't.
The USSC ruled that the Dean-sponsored bill taking land for the bike path un-Constitutional.

"to build twin railings on the front steps"

Is this so the gin-soaked raisen "shove it" person can make it up and down the steps ..??Yes, they should have also installed a thick foam rubber pad for her occasional tumbles. Truth is she's back here in Fox Chapel, north of Pittsburgh most of the time.
Happy New Year!

I'm forced to wonder what the bone of contention was; did the steps originally have only a single rail or did they have no rail at all?

no rail at all..... the townies were wondering if the railings would be an eye sore -- oh ny!!!
Better the railings than seeing Kerry ("I don't fall down") or Teraaaaayza on her bum every other month!

My son makes his living buidling mostly handrails for new houses; no rail, no occupancy permit.

If I had their money I'd buy me an Island somewhere and do as I darned well pleased.
I'll bet when a commode stops up on Beacon Hill, you need permission from the city before you can legally plung on it.

I'm so disappointed in this thread. I saw Kerry and Rail, and thought he's being run out of town on a rail.
Well, better luck next time.
