Maybe the UN Rep's on the ground statement about the Americans being the only ones who can pull this off and what lifesavers we are should be transmitted to the ..... UN head in NYC who says we arn't doing enough and are stingy. Seems there is a major communication gap within the UN and the NYC living-life-large-on-our-buck bureuacrats need a little "time in the field".

I wonder how long it will be until the lefties start whining that the only reason President Bush is pledging so much aid and resources to the disaster is to undermine the UN?
