I've been reading everything on the WA board on this election, and everything on the general boards, and this whole thing amazes me, and quite frankly leaves me speechless.

The amazing thing is how open and public the whole thing is, and how silent and dismissive about it the people in power are.

I'm hoping the people of this state won't forget this during the next election...if this isn't a wake up call, nothing is.

"...how silent and dismissive about it the people in power are..."

That is because we do not have leaders in the USSRW - they are all gutless and without courage or integrity. They are typically Democrats who would not even think about hurting someone's feelings. It is truly pathetic. They just fill a job, get a good salary, and a pension. All at the cost of the taxpayer.

At work today, two of my colleagues were saying how they "didn't like either candidate now" - I guess to show that they were superior, bi-partisan, and so fed up with the election spectacle.

Why be fed up? Why GIVE up? NOW is the time to fight! How very weak we have become at standing up to anything. The very thought that energy may be expended for more than two weeks leaves "us" mentally exhausted. What a poor contrast to our Founders - the original Freedom Fighters. And as Barry Goldwater said; "Moderation in the defense of liberty is no virtue."
