Democrats Urged to Buy 'Enlightened American' Wristbands

A Florida company is selling an "electric blue" wristbands to disenchanted Democrats as a way of helping them "band together."
The wristbands say "Enlightened American," and they signify that the wearer supports "democratic candidates and ideals," said ZarKar Inc., the company that is selling wristbands online for $2.99 apiece. "Many Democrats were disappointed by the results of the 2004 Presidential election," ZarKar said in a press release. "Now, as the Inauguration approaches, some remain in a state of disbelief, while others feel that their voices will remain unheard and their needs unmet by the incoming administration.
"By wearing the Enlightened American wristband, these individuals band together in common voice declaring that they remain firm in their ideals, especially during this important political time."
ZarKar says it will donate a portion of its profits to a charitable organization that supports civil rights for all. This month's proceeds will go to children affected by the tsunami disaster, it said.

Major marketing blunder. When selling things to liberals you must promote the amount of sales tax they pay with each purchase.

The best thing you can do should you run into one of these wimps is to completely ignore the band and don't say a word about it. This defeats the whole purpose of wearing one.

My resolution this year is to avoid assuming that liberals are less intelligent when spouting their opinions. People can have an honest disagreement.
On the other hand, they make it so easy to think that.

Just the name of those idiotic wristbands shows how what these people are. Elitist, ignorant, assinine, socialists. And that is being far too nice.

Jeez, what morons. What if we said, "Hey, you Jews!" (Or Arabs, for that matter.) "Here's a Star of David (or Cresent) for you to wear, so we know who you are?" We would be the Evil Republicans Trying to Opress Them. But here are the Fruitbat Blue Staters
voluntarily ID'ing themselves so we know who to watch! What a Blessing!
For that matter, will it be like the TV anchors who refused to wear a flag? Will we be able to look at Brokaw and Rather and Co. in their last, sad days, and say, "Hey, Liberal! We know who you are!"

I think they should wear WWRD wristbands. That way Democrats going about their daily lives could stop and pause before every action & ask themselves "What Would Repubicans Do in this situation?"
To: george wythe
The wrist band should just say "LOSER" in all Capitol letters.

Instead of wrist bands, they should wear armbands with a picture of the human brain and the international symbol of a circle with a diagonal line through it.

My kid has been wearing a wristband since before the election. He got it at the GOP headquarters where he volunteered.
It is bright blue and has Bush/Cheney embossed on the outside, and on the inside it says something to the effect of "only to be worn on your right arm."
