A Family Court judge who last year stirred debate about parental responsibilities ordered a second drug-addicted woman to have no more children until she proves she can look after the seven she already has.
That's just it - she does not have to look after the kids she already has because the government will play "daddy" for her. If they were really her responsibility, she would have not had those kids. Government subsidizes this kind of behavior. Stop the subsidy, stop the behavior.

You really think this woman is in control of her behavior, and analyzes cause-and-effect relationships and long term consequences before jumping into bed with one of her dealers? You're living in a fantasy world. Before government intervention programs, kids born to women like this simply died . . . slowly. Prevention is the way to go.

Good post. And do you realize how many inner city high schools have day care on premises? I know the number of teens having babies has dropped, but there is still no stigma, and these kids get free medical, free meals, even free dental, while the middle class has to actually WORK for all these things.
Rob Reiner and his ilk with "for the CHILDREN" don't understand that his programs help to ensure that generations of women are behaving like prostitutes, with kids with many "baby daddies," and no one has to change this behavior.
