I'm starting to wonder what kind of life the "right-wing Christians" have -- since they dedicate so much free time to find fault in others.

When do they have the time to devote, judge, or be concerned about what is happening in their own lives?

I think you've answered your own question.

They don't have lives.

The English poet, John Donne, is remembered for the quotation, "No man is an island." In his mediation, Donne reflected the idea that people are not isolated from one another, but that mankind is interconnected. The concern of any individual should not be only for his own life and that of his family, but of his country and the society where he lives. Patriotism is regarded as a virtue because it represents a man's loyalty to his fellows and the land that he calls home. Being patriotic means more than supporting the nation's defense against external enemies. It means wanting the best for your nation and opposing the enemy within.

Abraham Lincoln once observed that no foreign power would ever conquer America, but that if this nation is destroyed, it will be at our own hands. The blows wrought against this nation through permissiveness, failure to insist on standards of decent behavior, and moral relativism have been far more damaging than those of all our enemies, from George III to Osama bin Laden. Daniel Moynihan (a Democrat!) commented some years ago that if a foreign nation imposed an educational system on this nation that we have created for ourselves, America would regard it as an act of war. The public education system has consumed the same poison of permissiveness and moral relativism that the entertainment industry has. Both are in desperate need of radical reform.

It is the duty of all Americans who truly love their country to firmly oppose the glorification and endorsement by the family of the Chief Executive of disreputable entertainers like Kid Rock. The likes of Kid Rock and the vast majority of contemporary entertainers should be pushed to the underworld from which it came.

You apparently have a HUGE problem with "right-wing Christians."

Or is it ANYONE who dare object to the honoring of an in-your-face vulgarian gutter rat at the Presidential Inaugural?
