i noticed when dan blather was reporting about the tsunami there was a global warning graphic behind him. couldnt hear what he was saying cuz they had the tvs turned down in the chowhall.......just as well I figured BS at that moment and I knew what he was say...global warming had made the tsunami worse...ect
Was reviewing my old geophysics books. The forces involved in tectonic activity have absolutely zero to do with the relatively minor forces (by comparison) in the atmosphere. To put in in perspective, look at what a relatively small glitch in the earth's crust, such as a landslide, can do. Nothing can stop it. Nothing can stop plate motion. The convection in the mantle exerts forces, slowly, over time, that are so far beyond anything in the atmosphere, that it is incomprehensible. What I see here is a major opportunity for public awareness regarding earth sciences. There is little of it now. Such awareness will utterly destroy not only the "Greenhouse Effect" myth and the "human induced global warming myth" but will also silence the green whackos. Man's impact on the environment is nothing compared with the environment's impact on the environment!
