London 05.01.05 | The answer is, he was a guest of honour of the Bolivarian encounter of intellectuals organized, hosted and sponsored by the administration of Hugo Chavez. Thats right folks; Hugo Chavez cuddles with and invites international terrorists at the taxpayers expense, although this is not the first time his criminal and clumsy actions are spoilt by respectable police forces. What the Farc?
South America is the fire next time. One can only trust or hope that the WOT leaves enough eyes to focus on this problem, the emergence of a marxist/coca fueled, continent wide revolutionary movement.
The biggest mistake of Bush's first term was not getting rid of Chavez when the moment arrived. After the coup attempt, Bush did congratulate the Venezuelan people on their blow for freedom; but right away State got in there and muddied the waters. I think we're going to have massive problems with Chavez in the future, particularly since there is already a dangerous Islamist presence in Latin America and the Chavez government has serious Islamic connections. Aside from Chavez' adoration of Carlos the Jackal, who is in a French prison, converted to Islam some years ago, and now considers himself a fighter for Islam, there are many people in Chavez' government with Islamist connections. So if the Marxism isn't enough to worry about, it's clear that he's also teaming up with our other big enemy.

FARC is a revolutionary - Marxist group in Colombia. For those of use geographically impaired, that's next to Venezuela. Responsible for kidnappings, assassinations, blowing up pipelines, police HQ, and perhaps a jetliner, too.
ping me on a Colombia list, por favor.
Bush needs to recind the Jerry Ford E.O. concerning the CIA and assasinating other leaders, and invade Chavez's head with a bullet from an M-16. His regime is worse than Allende ever was in Chile and nothing has been done about it, makes me sick.
