Love it, love it, luuuuuuuuuuuuuv it! I think "mister" Gere should go the second mile, since he wants to "help" with their elections so much, and move to Gaza! I'm sure he'll get quite a "reception!"
Maybe Babs Streisand, Alec Baldwin, Linda Rhonstadt, Cher, and other assorted Hell-y-wood nincompoops should accompany "mister" Gere to Gaza as well.
You know this story points out a problem we (America) has. For large parts of the world the only view they have of America and what we stand for comes from hollywood. Think about it, say you're living in (say) Uzbekistan, or Morocco...or any other 3rd world hell hole you care to menntion, and the all you know about America comes from the Movies or TV. What do you see, people hopping in and out of bed like sex crazed rabbits, people killing each other all over the place, children disrespectful to their parents, NO religion or if religion is shown is shown in a negative light....etc. would you want too live there? Now here comes some Saudi funded Mullah telling see this is what America means, this is what they want too bring here.
We (America) really need to start to address this.
