Annan urged nations to channel $1.7 billion of the funds to the United Nations for relief, including $977 million for emergency aid.

Big shock here. I guess he needs more money. Now it makes sense for BUSH to let the U.N. take over. Then the whole world will be focused on how the money is going to be wasted by the U.N.

Give em' enough rope and they'll hang themselves...

How do you figure they haven't even found the Billions they skimmed off the FFO yet, and as long as the UN won't release the files no one will ever know. Just gives them free rein to skim again. What do you want to bet that France and Germany are at the top of the list for doing the reclamtion work.
